This STELLAR Broadband Web Services Privacy Policy sets forth STELLAR Broadband’s commitments to customer privacy, cybersecurity, and two-way SMS compliance as of January 1, 2025.

STELLAR Broadband’s optional SMS programs provide account and service updates, outage notifications, installation scheduling, billing reminders, authentication codes, and support. Enrollment constitutes consent. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for assistance. Message frequency varies; carrier rates may apply. SMS numbers and data are used only for service delivery, legal compliance, and fraud prevention. STELLAR Broadband does not sell SMS data or disclose it to third parties for marketing. In addition, STELLAR Broadband will not share, disclose, or license customer phone numbers or SMS opt-in consent information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Such information is used solely by STELLAR Broadband and its contracted service providers to provide the SMS services for which you enrolled, to comply with applicable law, and to protect against fraud or misuse.

STELLAR Broadband maintains a security program aligned with the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, including encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256), patching and vulnerability management, monitoring, annual penetration testing, vendor security reviews, and employee training.

STELLAR Broadband maintains an incident response plan and will notify affected customers without unreasonable delay in the event of a data breach, consistent with Michigan Identity Theft Protection Act and FCC CPNI rules.
